Prior to this evening, the strangest thing I'd ever eaten was a scorpion. Now, I have eaten the following types of meat: 1. Reindeer - Surprisingly did not taste like venison. 2. Horse - Yes, you read that correctly. It wasn't good. Very dry and tough to swallow. Had it smoked, as well, which didn't make it better. It was like swallowing a bottle of Liquid Smoke, for those who know what that is. 3. Whale - Not a big fan of this one, either. Also quite dry and surpringly gamey.
